The concept stems from the truth that kids, no matter how hard you try, will never willingly eat their vegetables. Instead of sugar-coating the subject, I reinforced the importance of introducing vegetables into a child’s diet. And reassured parents that their patience through today’s dinnertime battles will later be rewarded with their child’s health and gratitude.
